Motel Life

The Motel Life - Willy Vlautin, Nate Beaty I loved this book -- so unusual. I read it quickly in a couple of days. Vlautin had such a great voice in Frank Flannigan. Such a sad sack story, but I found the characters so appealing. Frank, his troubled brother Jerry Lee, his sometime girlfriend Annie James, the dog he befriends, and of course the missing / dead child Wes Denny. It all just worked so well.
