Alex is a dynamo who I want to meet. Mom is a little too righteous at times, but I can understand. All in all, an engaging story of a 5 year old who sets up to conquer climbing the 48 4000-footers with her mom -- and accomplishes it in short order before she turns 7. Some good trail descriptions and a growing knowledge of hiking in the White Mountains ensues.
