Slow to get started, but a short and meditative book. I wanted to be sympathetic to Aurora, but she is a frustrating character -- hard to know whether she's really insightful or just strange. Since Aurora's goal is to get a job as a building caretaker, I couldn't help but think of The Elegance of the Hedgehog, which I liked better. This book talks a little bit about the building caretaker world -- and this "ideal" job to some seems to be on the endangered list. Written in Spanish (I read the English translation) and set in Galicia and Madrid.
